‘’We don’t remember the days, we remember the moments’’ Cesare Pavese
Tecnica Football Education are deeply saddened by the tragic news coming from Medellin, Colombia. Our deepest condolences and thoughts go out to the Chapecoense football club over the loss of their players, staff, journalists and club officials.
2016 a year of such tragedy but in reverse a year of the sporting underdog, the fairytales coming true and special moments of respect, goals and skill that keeps the footballing community in love with the game.
Learning the similar comparison to Leicester City of Associacao Chapecoense De Futebol's achievements a relatively overachieving team carrying Brazilian hopes into a major competition. It just shows the importance of hard work competing with talent and making the most of the football moment journey. Seeing the video of the team celebrating reaching the Copa Sudamericana that right there is a football moment, of course watching it now is heartbreaking but the joy of achievement, elation of success created memories they would of always carried.
Creating or giving the tools for future football moments is at the heart of the Tecnica philosophy and under the surface we are sure its a part of everyone's DNA. After all if you didn't enjoy it you wouldn't immerse yourself in the games bubble. We all have our own memories from playing, coaching or watching the game and we spend years either sharing or boring people with what did or witnessed but it shouldn't be any other way.
So our thoughts are pretty simple for this weekend, cherish the amazing times and if you are involved at any level of the game, together help create the next set of football memories that keeps the game blossoming beyond your lifetime.
